Megabat (flying-fox) Little red mum hit by car
female 3 week old little red mega bat - rehab - mum hit by car.
mum was able to give birth after the accident on the side of the road. then the rescuer arrive and found this little one... very lucky
a call came for a dead Little red with a tiny baby on board that had been hit by a car.
This icy cold little scrap arrived still attached to her mother by an unborn placenta and dangling by her umbilical cord.
A thorough assessment found no injuries but it is still early days and considering the circumstances of her rescue we need to be vigilant for a some time. - facebook / Batzilla-the-Bat
