A couple of followers have asked what the little "jackets" are some of the baby bats are wearing in some photos - including one worn by little Jackie Sparrow. Because the tiny premature pups do not have as much fur as they should have, they have little custom made jackets to help them retain body heat until they are more fully furred. It's not just to make them look cuter! As for the pacifiers, normally the pups would be latched into the mothers nipple from birth, so giving them pacifiers is for the same reason human babies are comforted by them.
