Young Megabat black female caught in barbed wire is also blind in left eye from previous unknown injury. She has taken a few days to realise she is safe now. Barbed wire injuries to hand and leg membrane should repair. Last night she was calling out, just like a baby dose. It started when the kookaburras arrived in the backyard at sunset doing their "laugh". She could hear them from the the batty room inside the house. So I am not sure if this has anything to do with her calling out. Possibly she was attacked by kookaburras or she didn't like the noise..? She calmed done after I moved her to another room next to me. I did put her back in her room later on when I was going to sleep, except she started calling out again. I moved her to the bedroom next to me and she calmed down and was relaxed all night.
