"This photo, taken by one of the wildlife rescuers, shows the bat which was attacked by scum bags in a Sydney suburb. This is just a baby, and the spray paint was in its nose, mouth and airways. It died as a result. There is no excuse and if the heartless mongrels who did this are found they should be prosecuted for animal cruelty regardless of their age. Even then, they'd be getting off light."
