Megabats Yarra Bend Park, Kew, Melbourne fruit bats flying-foxes

Presenting Melbourne's flying fox population, located at Bellbird Picnic Area within Yarra Bend Park at Kew in Melbourne, Australia.

During the 2010/2011 floods in Queensland, flying foxes arrived from that state in great numbers. The population at Yarra Bend almost doubled to 52,000. Reference: abc.net.au/news/stories/20...
