This Valentines Day don’t forget the places and wildlife you love.
Dear Supporter,
While you can’t hug a sea turtle or give a koala flowers, you can show you care by sending a Valentines Day card to the Prime Minister on behalf of the places and wildlife you love.
Thanks to thousands of people like you taking action last year, the Federal Government halted its plan to hand environmental approval powers to the states, keeping national environmental protection in place – at least for now.
Big business and many state governments are not taking this move lying down. They are pushing the Federal Government to continue down the path of weakening environmental laws so they can accelerate mining and other destructive development with little in their way.
Join us by signing the card today! We need as many people as possible to show the Prime Minister and Environment Minister Tony Burke we support stronger, not weaker environmental laws.
We will deliver the signed card on Valentines Day – this Thursday – to the PM and Minister Burke in Canberra with bunches of native flowers. To add your name to the card in time we need you to take action before Tuesday night!
Sign the card to the Prime Minister and Environment Minister Burke today to show we need them to stand up to big business for our reefs, forests, wetlands and beaches—and the amazing creatures that live there.
Thanks for all you do,
The Places You Love Campaign
