Rescue | Megabat | Barbed wire, male black flying-fox, fruit bat

Megabat male black. about 20 weeks old.

About 6+ barbed wire rescues per week, just for bats called in. That's just Brisbane. so think about the rest of AU and the ones that don't get called in.

People see wildlife on barbed wire and don't do anything about it...

last day for this little one. unfortunately, due to the injuries of right arm/wing, this wild but friendly (after 24hrs from rescue) had to be put to sleep.
