A Sydney woman has used her innovative spirit to help animals in need, creating a protective wrap for baby bats.
Meg Churches, the founder of Megabattieblue, makes the pouches in winter to help orphaned baby bats and possums, come the warmer months.
“I try to anticipate what is going to be popular and make as many as I can of these items,” she wrote.
“I make my products in winter when bat rescue is quiet.”
Cuddlebatz wraps, made from flannelette fabric, are to mimic the infant bat experience of bonding with its mother.
The pouches come equipped with a special hole for a pacifier.
Ms Churches said she had since received orders from all around the world for the wraps.
