Wildlife Safe Nets Campaign is an initiative of the Victorian Advocates for Animals.
It is a response to the daily deaths of wildlife in unsafe backyard fruit tree netting and the relentless trauma wildlife rescuers face in dealing with unsafe (wide aperture) netting products. Netting fingers can pass through are unsafe and should never be put on a fruit tree.

Backyard fruit tree netting is deadly to nocturnal wildlife - they do not see it and become hopelessly trapped. Bats suffer cruel injuries, breaking fine wing bones, damaging delicate membrane and cutting mouths.
