" Little baby bat fell off his mother.

Volunteers of Fruit Bats Sanctuary went to assist and notice his mother flying above. 

Since the baby didn't have any injuries they've decided to assist the mother to pick him up.

(Leaving babies on the floor usually results in either freezing, cat snagging the cab, mother or both). "

" Baby season.

We often get reports about baby bats found on the ground while their mothers are circling around.

Mother bats will do anything and everything to protect their babe, even if this means putting herself at risk.

When we got the call about this little guy, crying out for his mommy at central Tel Aviv, our volunteer rushed over, to help reunite this loving family.

For over 30 minutes she stood with her arms out, till mommy was finally brave enough to approach her and reclaim her baby boy.

Luckily the event was captured on camera, so we can share this emotional experience with all of you!💜

Our volunteer is experienced in handling fruit bats and is authorised to care for them.
