" This is an original press photo. Cincinnati Zoo - An Indian Fruit bat with a wing spread of three and a half feet, is held by Cincinnati Zoo curator Ed Muraska after it and 10 others arrived to take up residence in the zoo's nocturnal house. Called flying foxes because of striking resemblance of head and ears to a fox, the bats can enter country only on special permission of U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare.
