James's BatsRule! and other WildLife fund

Funds for Megabats, Microbats and other wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.

Self funded for 8 years.

Medication. I would like to start paying for meds to my local vet. When I do, the vet charges me cost price. So funds wouldn't be used at retail prices. There is a donation box on the counter. The vet collects that money for our local Bat rescue group.

Australia Zoo has never charged me for anything. However it would be good to donate some funds when I visit the wildlife hospital.

I now have access to an animal eye specialist who is half an hour drive. This service/consultation has been at no charge. I am assuming that a specialist would cost more and thought that it would be good to pay something for their time, advise, meds and follow ups.

Vehicle fuel. For rescues, barbed wire checks, transport animals to and from other carers, two vets are 40 mins south and 1 hour north travel, local vet, when available is 15 mins.

Food. Fruit, juices and formula.
